Pay: $22.78 plus a night shift differential of $1.20!
Purpose
Responsible for locating raw materials in warehouse bin and s-loc locations, retrieving and delivering this material to the appropriate machine center, assist in putting away inbound raw materials in warehouse, unload/loading trucks, retrieving work in process rolls, handling recycle and scrap materials, offloading rewinder rolls, palletizing, banding, stretch wrapping. Powered Industrial Trucks, also known as a forklift will be used. A sit-down and stand up forklift will be the primary equipment used by a material handler.
Duties
Practices safety, at all times, in compliance with company safety mission and philosophy. Awareness of, and adherence to, all Corporate and Site Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures, including Food Safety
Adhere to Good Manufacturing and Prerequisite Program requirements to ensure safe food packaging.
Comply with all 5S, Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspection & Tightening (CILT) requirements.
Adheres to Amcor core values and actively contributes to a high-performance culture.
Material Handler specific: Material-handlers responsibility to work with each other and the shipping/receiving department to make sure materials are moved safely, timely, and accurately.
Deliver print and/or primary stock to the machine center. The handling units are to be placed on roll cradles.
Deliver raw sealant to machines and stage in proper location.
Materials from prior orders (return to stock butt rolls) should be used first in an effort to keep inventory from aging.
Larger production runs may have sealant in a trailer in a dock door. The machine assistant can help, but ultimately is not responsible for unloading the material from the trailer.
Return raw materials to inventory locations from designated “return” areas following guidelines and procedures.
Laminated rolls are to be hung to cure within 45-60 minutes of the roll coming off the machine.
Handles boxes of resin, recyclable materials, and scrap.
Pulls materials dispositioned to be scrapped from racks and staged with other materials to be scrapped.
Prepares and maintains accurate paperwork to be forwarded to inventory control for inventory transactions.
Assists in put-away of inbound raw materials and finished goods in proper warehouse locations.
Cross-training in other departments and on other machines as required by demand.
All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
The employee must regularly lift and/ or move 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
