Position Overview: *
This is an entry level sales position. The incumbent will support assigned Account Managers’ success with their customers and assist in internal processes designed to streamline our customer’s experience of dealing with Amcor. The role is intended to offer an employee exposure to all facets of the sales organization for the Beverage business unit, and to provide the employee with a broad base upon which to build a sales career or transition into other roles in the organization.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

- Coordinate and communicate pricing changes, follow rebate schedules, assure AR compliance with customers, interact with and support manufacturing facilities with customer service including issue resolution if supply or quality issues develop
- Work with assigned customers to maintain superior accounts receivable performance
- Manage customer rebate programs; assure accruals are accurate and obtain approvals for accruals and credits
- Use Salesforce.com per company requirements for sales reporting, CPAF creation and approvals, and customer information updates
- Provide miscellaneous invoicing support for the Commercial team
- Administer Multi Trip Packaging (MTP) programs with customers, prepare reports, review balances and action follow ups
- Escalate internal/external issues for customer base assuring customer satisfaction and protecting current sales volume
- Provide support to the marketing group (sample collection, maintenance of product database, etc.)
- Managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
- Execute tactical plans based on strategic direction of the business
- Coordinate and work with plants, R&D group, F&A to manage all aspects of being THE packaging supplier of choice for assigned customers
Qualifications: *
Education: Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or related field preferred or equivalent proven working experience in a sales support function

- Minimum of one year of sales or related experience
- Excellent working knowledge or Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software is required
- Experience with SAP, BW, Salesforce.com, and previous exposure to manufacturing processes and technical knowledge within the plastics industry preferred
- High energy level with the capacity for learning and learning quickly
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally throughout the organization (i.e., with Supply Chain, Finance, R&D)
- Strong communications skills (written, spoken, presentation, listening)
