What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extension Programs Associate (Part Time) position at AMDA?
AMDA College of the Performing Arts, with campuses in New York City and Hollywood, is one of the foremost post-secondary performing arts colleges in the country. AMDA offers various pathways for students to receive unparalleled performing arts education taught by world-class industry professionals, including Professional Conservatory Certificates as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees (Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Associate of Occupational Studies, Master of Fine Arts and Master of Arts).
The Extension Programs Associate will contact new inquiries and applicants regarding the admissions process for AMDA's High School Summer Conservatory, High School After School Conservatory, and Gap Programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Outbound dialing and lead generation to new inquiries, applicants and parents.
- Discuss information about all department associated programs, admissions process, faculty, student life and alumni with potential students and parents.
- Answer all questions and concerns of the student and parent.
- Participate in enrollment calls.
- Inspire students to pursue their dreams in the performing arts.
- Nurture leads.
- Qualify and interview students for AMDA.
- Lead generation and appointment setting to other members and organizations for outreach opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Excellent analytical, communication, sales and organizational skills.
- Can work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Highly motivated and a team player.
- Work under tight deadlines.
- Computer proficiency: MS Office including (excel, Word) and Google Drive documents.
- Experience in higher education is a plus (but not required).
- Experience with or knowledge of High School Conservatories a plus (not required).
- Experience with or knowledge of the performing arts a plus (not required).
- Call center experience a plus (but not required).
- Bi-lingual is a plus (but not required).
Position Information:
- This position is subject to a background check upon a conditional offer of employment and a reference check.
- The pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour.
- This is a fully remote position.
- Program Associates will work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week and a maximum of 29 hours per week.
