What will your job look like?
- Represent/lead discussions related to provisioning applications design, implementation and rollout to production in an extremely fast paced development environment with multiple stakeholders and strict delivery timelines.
- Act as a technical SME and a designer in the domain of provisioning application frameworks, field service dispatch processes and retail applications in the field of telecommunications.
- Use Enterprise integration tools - TIBCO iProcess, TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO EMS and ESCIMO framework.
- Enhance and support provisioning support tools including TAPUI, Strata, Boost and TRIO.
- Support APIs and processes developed on multiple technologies - PL SQL, Java/J2EE, Swift iOS, TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO iProcess, TIBCO EMS, Mongo DB, Java Script, RESTful and SOAP based web services, Database stored procedures.
- Onboard new hires, train them on processes, share knowledge with team members, and take an active role in technical mentoring within the team and elevating the knowledge of the team.
- Cooperate and lend expertise in collaborative and agile development techniques using Atlassian products including Confluence and JIRA.
- Perform peer code inspection, review developed software solutions and provide relevant feedback.
- Apply experience and knowledge from supporting production enterprise systems in production defect resolution with use of several different tools including Splunk and log4j.
All you need is...
- PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related, and 7 years of relevant work experience.
- ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
- In addition, the following skills are required: (1)Applying and implementing Java/J2EE, SOAP, REST to build APIs and services for enabling customer onboarding and provisioning via use of Enterprise system integration ideologies; (2) Designing and developing data base objects using Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) including Oracle PL/SQL, NoSQL depending on the nature of the technical solution at hand; (3) Leading a cross functional team to architect and build Enterprise application integration frameworks using TIBCO Business Works, TIBCO iProcess, TIBCO EMS and Apache MQ; (4) Understanding collaborative development platforms including Confluence and JIRA and building technical documentation using the same for multiple provisioning application solutions; and (5) Practicing Agile software development methodologies and Service Oriented Architecture paradigm in all technical solutions.
