Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Title: Registered Nurse
Location: Springville, AL
Shift: 7pm to 7:30am
Start: ASAP

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Assist with various medical procedures, including phlebotomy and ostomy care
- Utilize ICD-10 coding to accurately document patient diagnoses and treatments
- Manage pain effectively through appropriate interventions
- Coordinate discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Experience in infant care, toddler care, home care, family planning, and pain management is highly desirable

Skills:
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Proficient in ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to phlebotomize accurately
