What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Innovation and Integration SME position at Amentum?
Amentum has an opportunity for a highly qualified Cyber Innovation and Integration SME to provide research, analysis, planning, coordination, and multi-national integration for Cyber initiatives that advance U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) priorities. This position is located at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.
You have unique insights into cyber operations, network operations, COCOM staff functions, and component requirements, and have an eye for identifying high-value gaps in cyber capabilities and develop innovative solutions. You will provide research, analysis, innovative capabilities development, CONOP/CONEMP development and exercise support for the integration of cyber capabilities across USINDOPACOM Component Commands and multinational partner nations. You'll also provide oversight and management for the integration of new cyber tools and technology into cyber training environments in order to enhance the integration of cyber effects and cyber capabilities during USINDOPACOM and Component exercises. The scope of the project will include providing technical assistance with development of the requirements, resources, policies, and logistics needed to support these initiatives for USINDOPACOM.
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth analysis based on test data collected and provide recommendations in support of USINDOPACOM initiatives. This analysis will be applied to support, streamline, and enable the USINDOPACOM cyber strategy.
- Conduct research and provide analysis, both classified and unclassified, to support USINDOPACOM policies and plans, as well as implementation at the Component Command, Sub-Unified Command, and Direct Reporting Unit level.
- Research, analyze, and provide recommendations on strategic Cyber opportunities with countries in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
- Manage, create and maintain documentation for compliance and accreditation purposes for applicable USINDOPACOM cyber training programs, such as course syllabi, curriculum binders, and instructor, facilitator, and student learning materials, etc.
- Assist with developing and maintaining close working relationships and programmatic linkages with relevant government agencies, research labs, Services, and industry in order to identify new and emerging cyber capabilities.

Minimum Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal agencies in a related field
- At least 5 years of experience working in the INDOPACOM AOR
- At least 5 years of experience conducting cyber research, analysis and assessments
- At least 2 years of demonstrated management of IT networks, systems and/or capabilities
- At least 1 year of experience working multi-national engagement projects
- A thorough understanding of network operations in order to identify potential use cases for new technology
- Experience working military plans and/or operations
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in order to provide information, articles, written reports, and presentations to include delivering executive summaries to flag and general officers (FO/GO) and Senior Executive Service (SES) level officials
- Experience providing regularly scheduled project plans and status reports
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have an active Top Secret security clearance
