What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Driver position at Amerantbank?
The Executive Driver transports executives, team members, clients, or others using a corporate vehicle. This position is responsible for providing a safe and worry-free travel experience, and handling deliveries in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and provide customer service to riders
- Practice safe driving techniques
- Drive diverse types of vehicles, including sedans, vans, and SUVs
- Complete trip information via GPS or smart phone
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance inside and outside which includes car washes, refueling and vacuuming
- Identify and report vehicle maintenance issues to manager immediately
- Complete time in/out record keeping through time management
- Transport clients and or packages to and from destinations
- Cover assignments for the CEO or those directed/approved by the CEO during weekends
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ensure preventive measures are carried out to fully comply with current rules, regulations and internal policies relating to risks pertaining to BSA, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and other AML related issues.
- To identify, evaluate, monitor and make any recommendation deemed necessary to their respective Risk Management Committee in order to assess, reduce, eliminate or control any current or prospective risks to earnings or capital arising from violations of, or nonconformance with, laws, rules regulations, prescribed practices, internal policies and procedures or ethical standards.

Must be organized, able to manage time, multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Possess interpersonal and customer service skills. Effective communication skills verbally and in writing are required.
Education and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Technical Requirements
Valid driver’s license
3-5 years of related experience
Ability to operate a vehicle safety
Knowledge of motor vehicle laws
Ability to map appropriate routes and estimate travel time using GPS of standard maps
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to diagnose mechanical problems
Ability to work nights and weekends
Proficient using Microsoft Office Products including MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
Salary : $23,900 - $30,200
