Ameresco is seeking an Engineering Assistant Co-op student to work with Ameresco's Northeast Project Development Team. This position is located at our company headquarters in Framingham, MA. Responsibilities: Assist with determining customers' technical requirements, identify and evaluate opportunities for energy efficiency; Gather key project details such as utility data, facility profiles, site drawings, and system operating data; Visit project sites to assess and document building, mechanical, electrical, controls, and plumbing systems; Investigate, analyze, and document energy conservation and water cost reduction measures; Conduct detailed engineering analysis including baseline profiles, end-use analysis, retro-fit analysis; Prepare technical content, proposals, analysis, feasibility reports and provide critical peer review; and, Perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering, Energy Efficiency, and/or Renewable Technology; Junior, Senior or Graduate-level student is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing. Ability to travel by car to project sites within the region. Position requires background and driving records check. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Proven ability to gather, validate, and analyze quantitative data and information Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
