Performs a wide variety of duties relating to enforcing the terms of the loan documents, maintaining reporting and tracking of various commercial loan servicing functions such as monitoring the underlying asset, securing the loan, tracking insurance policies, UCC filings, property taxes, quality control, month-end processes and collateral releases. Responsibilities also include loan booking and funding, processing of wires and payoffs, loan set-up review, research, and other support functions as assigned. Ensures that members, prospective members and employees are promptly and professionally served.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Interact with members, title companies, loan underwriting, legal counsel, etc. to provide exceptional member service.• Assist in the booking and funding of new loans, loan modifications and renewals.• Perform post-closing review to ensure loans are boarded onto the system accurately and imaged properly.• Respond to commercial loan maintenance ticklers, i.e., loan maturities, renewals, property taxes and UCCs.• Track and monitor interest rate index changes and report to management.• Assist in managing the interest rate reset process for adjustable rate loans and generate rate change notifications to be sent to borrowers• Process transactions for loan participations purchased from/sold to affiliates and other financial institutions.• Review and process late fee notices.• Track and monitor UCC expiration dates and prepare filings of continuations and terminations.• Preparation of payoff statements, process loan payments, payoffs, and advances for all loans.• Timely filing of lien releases at the time of loan payoff.• Manage appraisal bid and selection process. Maintain appraisal system including managing and updating approved appraiser list.• Manage and complete internal property inspections for commercial properties. Review third party inspection reports and make recommendations based on results.• Interact with insurance companies, monitor insurance requirements and update database with revised insurance information.• Balance G/L accounts as assigned.• Responsible for updating procedures of job duties as it pertains to related position.• Be available as needed to cross train and perform additional tasks as assigned.• Adheres to Credit Union Policies.• Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor.
