What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Trainer III - Electronic Medical Records (EMR) position at American Addiction Centers?
Overview
The American Addiction Centers (AAC) team is pleased to announce our opening for a bright and engaging Corporate Clinical Trainer.
US
At American Addiction Centers, our vision is to revolutionize the treatment of addiction and to be recognized as the standard of excellence in the industry. We start by hiring the best.
As the Corporate Clinical Trainer, you will collaborate with a best in class team that is unique in both prowess and personality. Here is a little bit more about your new colleagues:
Your first new teammate is the Nursing and Electronic Health Records Training Manager. He is a Registered Nurse with big ambitions and a lifelong thirst for knowledge. His workplace passions include productivity and efficiency, so it is no surprise that this manager’s free time is spent completing projects around his Ohio home, rereading his favorite novels and casually viewing reruns of the Office.
You will be joining two Clinical Trainers, the first of which is a Licensed Master Social Worker. Unbound by the status quo, this trainer has a knack for streamlining training processes and a passion for exploring the unexplored in the training realm. She is also adventurous in her free time and can be found kayaking and hiking her way around Nashville, possibly while wearing one of her many fun wigs.
Our newest Clinical Trainer has hit the ground running, meeting with teams and reviewing processes at our facilities across the United States. This energetic teammate has a strong background in Utilization Review Management and is currently working toward her MBA in Healthcare. A Texas dweller, she attends every concert she can physically access and enjoys expertly dancing her nights away.
Last, but certainly not least, our Electronic Health Records Training Director (AKA: your new leader) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who uses her past experience at the facility level to support and empathize with associates across the company. She leads her team with conviction and an unmatched passion for those she serves. In her free time, she loves dining at gorgeous restaurants, being at the beach near her Florida home and snuggling with her adorable puppy dog, Pucci.
And don’t even get us started on our other half, the “inside” training team responsible for sales and leadership; that’s another five exceptional human beings you will have the pleasure of interacting with on a daily basis.
As a team, we believe that great working relationships are born of a genuine care for one another. This is why we begin each morning with a virtual meeting to discuss current projects and engage in personal development through meditation, journaling or ergonomic stretches. We are united by the focus we share: the everyday transformation of lives.
If this sounds like the position, team and calling for which you search, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
This key position will be responsible for the development of skills, compliance and efficacy of our team through the company-wide execution of training via classroom, webinar and eLearning. Starting with the development and facilitation of training and ending with evaluation and tracking, this team member will touch every aspect of learning at AAC.
YOU
Qualified candidates will possess an outstanding facilitation skillset, as well as the ability to teach skills, both soft and technical, to a diverse and largely non-technical audience. For this position, strong communication and organization skills are a MUST.
The successful candidate will be a mover and shaker, with an openness to frequent travel.
Our final non-negotiable? This individual will genuinely aspire to positively impact the AAC team member experience and, as a direct result, heighten the level of patient care.
