Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Dishwasher cleans and washes dishes, glassware, flatware, food preparation equipment and utensils. Serves food and beverages to clients. Assists with setting up buffet lines and beverage stations. Set up and /or clear dining areas. This position is also responsible for mopping floors and cleaning surfaces as required. Operation of commercial dishwashing equipment is necessary to perform required duties.

- Wash all dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils using commercial dishwasher.
- Clean all work surfaces as needed.
- Remove trash and clean trash cans as needed.
- Stock supplies and equipment in appropriate areas.
- Maintain clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Receive and store supplies.
- Sweep and mop floors.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Food Handler Certificate
- Minimum of 1 year experience in washing dishes and equipment in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
- Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar. Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
