GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for servicing customers in a professional manner and be an ambassador for American Aluminum Extrusion Company as well as ensuring the customer's product is transported and delivered in a professional manner without incident.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Conducts inspections before and during trips to ensure safe working conditions of the tractor (truck) and trailer.
- Communicates all maintenance problems to the fleet mechanic and management.
- Responsible for maintaining, cleanliness, appearance, and the safe operation of all Commercial Delivery vehicles on a daily and weekly basis.

- Any other task or duty as assigned or required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Must meet the Department of Transportation DOT and Company mental and physical requirements.
- Must be physically and mentally able to safely perform the essential functions without obvious risk of injury to the employee, co-workers and general public.
- Must have a Class B or C CDL with active emphasis on obtaining Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements from the state where you reside.
Timeframe to be discussed during interview.
Must have at minimum 2 years CDL with Interstate Commerce experience.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMEN T
- Exposure to all types of temperatures.
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping, bending, lifting and reaching overhead.
- Physical strength sufficient to move parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Sufficient manual dexterity required to perform job properly.
- Appropriate safety equipment is necessary.
- Overtime hours may be required.
- Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. Occasional overnight deliveries.
- There may be regular exposure to mild discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes, odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts and bright lights.
Typically located in a warehouse setting.
