Job Duties:
- Transport raw materials around the facility as needed.
- Maintain raw materials levels at the press and in each department.
- Assist in loading and unloading raw materials on trucks.
- Complete documentation as required.
- Follow all safety requirements including forklift inspections and documentation.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
- Cross-train, learn, and support other functions or processes as required.
- Ability to achieve and maintain crane and forklift certifications within AAE.
- Ability to complete accurate documentation and work on computers.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, working safely. Flexible to work overtime or change shifts as required.
Required Skills:
- Transport raw materials around the facility as needed utilizing sit-down forklifts, side-loaders, and overhead cranes
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with sit-down forklifts
- Maintain raw materials levels at the press and in each department.
- Assist in loading and unloading raw materials on trucks
- Complete documentation as required
- Follow all safety requirements including forklift inspections and documentation
- Complete all other duties as assigned
- Cross-train, learn, and support other functions or processes as required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to work on the production floor with exposure to dust, fumes, odors, loud noise, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to do work requiring standing with frequent stooping, bending, reaching overhead and sufficient manual dexterity to perform all aspects of the job.
- Ability to lift and move parts/equipment up to 50 pounds.
