What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Systems Manager - Dyehouse position at American & Efird?
This position requires the ability to (this is not a complete job description):
- Provide leadership and organization within the department
- Follows, promotes, and implements all Company policies
- Maintaining and troubleshooting Automatic Dye Dispensing Systems
- Maintaining and troubleshooting Automatic Chemical Dispensing Systems
- Maintaining and troubleshooting Dye Machine Control Systems
- Maintaining production databases and software systems
- Dye machine procedure maintenance
- Coordinate with corporate IT for Dyehouse Management Systems (DMS)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, DMS, and other A&E Computer Systems
- Generate weekly and monthly reports – support real time data mining
- Problem solving for machines, procedures, and system communications
- Data collections and analysis
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by senior management

Qualifications:
- Physical Requirements:
- Full use of extremities
- Good dexterity
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel and stretch
- Educational/Specific Knowledge requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Technical background in textiles preferred
- Ability to distinguish thread color and thread types.(color blind test)
- Manufacturing knowledge/experience preferred
- Ability to multitask with minimum supervision
- Good problem solving and people skills
- High level of independence, initiative and drive and be results oriented
- Ability to make decisions and exhibit good judgment
