Through testing, inspection, and analysis, our teams identify and evaluate challenging site conditions, geological hazards, and environmental contamination. We also identify the causes of performance issues with construction materials.

We then develop recommendations, engineering solutions, or remedial actions to help clients reduce or manage these risks.

AET has a full-time opportunity for a Construction Materials Testing Technician in Sheridan, WY. AET has several contracts providing long term good paying opportunities. Typical Job Duties Include:

• Testing and inspection of construction materials such as: soils, concrete, masonry, and hot mix asphalt, for quality control/quality assurance in a laboratory setting as well as on construction job sites

• Discussion of test results with client's on-site representative

• Preparation of daily reports on WT project specific activities

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.

• Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs. and 80 lbs. periodically

• Strong communication and detailed writing skills

• Basic math and writing skills.

• Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player

• Capable of working independently

• Availability to work irregular hours and occasional weekends

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and the ability to pass drug screening required.

Required and Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous construction materials testing experience and current and/or ACI certifications or equivalents preferred.
