How will you make an impact in this role?

American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the leading provider of payment solutions for businesses of all sizes. Within GCS, the US Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) segment is a key area of strategic focus and investment. The Digital Commerce team accelerates growth for US SME by developing best-in-class, integrated digital experiences from the first touchpoint in the acquisition journey through onboarding.

The Director of Offers Strategy, Digital Applications, and Onboarding plays a critical role in the success of our B2B acquisition channels. This role is responsible for setting our offers strategy and ensuring a seamless journey from digital Card application through onboarding. As the leader of offers strategy, this person will design, test, and evaluate welcome incentives, balancing demand with efficiency. On application experience, this person will lead a large multi-disciplinary project to make our application experience more dynamic. We are looking for a candidate who can think strategically and has a proven track record of building strong relationships to deliver transformational capabilities, tests, and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead two teams: one responsible for launching new application functionality and experiences; and the other responsible for designing, testing, and launching digital B2B Card acquisition incentives
• Drive business value through digital capabilities (application starts, application completion, and approvals) and offer strategy (site traffic, conversion rate, customer behaviors)
• Build close relationships with teams across the enterprise (Credit and Fraud Risk, Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions, and Global Servicing Network) to deliver a best-in-class application experience from the start of an application journey through onboarding
• Develop partnerships across Marketing (both Consumer and Customer Marketing), Product, Technology, Finance, and Campaign Execution Operations to design and deliver offers strategy
• Track offer investment and performance; analyze offer results to inform plan and develop deep understanding of performance indicators across channels to deliver optimized incentives
• Drive best customer behaviors and Employee Card uptake at acquisition by uplifting the Online Customer Enrollment journey
• Expand personalized offer capabilities and learnings in partnership Global Commercial Analytics
• Partner with the application and onboarding product owners to translate our business strategy into a prioritized product roadmap and test-and-learn backlog

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant work experience in a high-growth environment, ideally with experience in strategy, digital marketing, and/or user experience
• Strong leadership and relationship skills
• Understanding of how investments drive performance and comfort building forecasts
• Proven ability to transform business needs into desired outcomes leveraging technology and data
• Comfort working with varied data sets to surface insights and form recommendations
• Passion for digital marketing, innovation, and transformation

Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $205,000.00 annually bonus equity (if applicable) benefits
