The Commercial Data Office (CoDO) team, within Global Commercial Services (GCS), is focused on powering the best customer experience and business growth through data. With continuous changes in the regulatory environment and innovation through data evolving, CoDO plays a key role in strengthening GCS critical enablers and supporting new opportunities. In partnership with the Enterprise Data Office and across GCS, CoDO is tasked with building new, innovative data solutions for our customers, while adhering to regulations and data management best practices.

The team’s scope is comprised of 3 pillars:

• Drive Strategic Growth & Revenue – Defining the vision and roadmap to transform data as a key asset to power business growth
• Modernize Data Management – Ongoing data management, data discovery and collaboration across Global Commercial Services
• Ensure Health of the Commercial Business – Striving for 100% reliability of current data platforms and capabilities while developing more agility and scalability for the future 

As a Senior Analyst of Commercial Data Management, you will assist the Data Domain Data Steward in performing the day-to-day activities to maintain compliance with the policy within their domains/business units. You will participate in identifying critical data, maintaining data definitions, classifying data, supporting data sourcing / usage requests, measuring Data Quality Controls, and confirming Data Issues are remediated. You will have the opportunity to partner across various business units, technology teams, and product/platform teams to define and implement the data governance strategy, monitoring and managing data quality, resolving data/platform issues, and driving consistency, usability, and governance of specific product data across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities include:                                                                          

• Work with the business units to define and document Business Metadata for the critical data. Classify the level of sensitivity for restricted metadata and communicate any access requirements to Enterprise Data Governance, when applicable.
• Contribute to solution and ensure closure of Operational Risk Events (OREs) events involving critical data. Define and lead the implementation of the mitigating controls for OREs.
• Identify data quality controls, define data quality rules and set thresholds for critical data.  Review and oversee the business unit / enterprise scorecard for the aggregated data quality results of the Data Quality Controls for critical data. 
• Collaborate with business process / product owners and users to modify or implement new repeatable and reliable businesses processes in order to implement truly effective data management.
• Harmonize key policies and guidelines (e.g. Data Quality, Data Definition, Data Creation. Data Sharing, Data Usage policies) with the processes vital to carry out those policies, in collaboration with multi-functional partners.  
• Partner with legal, compliance and operational excellence to account for and uphold diverse privacy and compliance requirements across geographies. Ensure appropriate protections for data integrity, privacy, and regulatory compliance, including assurances for the validity of different potential analyses.

Qualifications include:

• 3 years of direct work experience in large scale/enterprise data projects.
• Consistent track record of understanding business challenges and strategies and connecting those to data and capabilities.
• Working knowledge of current and upcoming data governance, data management and data product techniques and trends, with a point of view on the evolving concepts and standard methodologies.
• Project management experience, with partners across a diverse, global set of business and technology teams.
• Demonstrable experience of driving meaningful improvements in business value through data management.
• Ability to work with white space to craft and implement solutions to tackle sophisticated challenges.
• Ability to put enterprise thinking first, connect the role’s agenda to enterprise priorities and balance the needs of customers, partners, colleagues & shareholders.
• Demonstrated learning agility, ability to make decisions quickly and with the highest level of integrity.
• Eagerness to test, learn, fail and improve is essential.
• Must have a positive, collaborative leadership style with colleague and customer first approach.
• Working knowledge of GCS data sources and systems, with hands-on experience solving data and process related problems, is a plus
• 2 years of direct experience relating to creation and execution of formal data governance and/or data management programs, is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile project methodology and tools such as Rally/Jira is a plus

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits
