Our Seniors Engineers (SRE) not only understand how technology works, but how that technology intersects with the people who count on it every day.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies.
• Removing toil and continues to drive efficiencies and optimization.
• Able to work on shift duty in a 24/7 support organization.
• This is a lead engineer position where you will also play the role of a mentor, leader, and coach to other engineers in the team.
• Able to understand and use complex data structures and associated components
• Designs, codes, tests, maintains, and documents applications
• Takes part in reviews of own work and reviews of colleagues' work
• Defines test conditions based on the requirements and specifications provided
• Has deep understanding of the core tools used in the planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining of assigned application(s)
• Intermediate knowledge of infrastructure technologies and components

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred
• Have working knowledge of APM tools such as ELK stack, Splunk, Prometheus, and dashboarding with Grafana.
• Minimum of 5 years on the working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, API testing tool – Postman.
• Working knowledge of XPaaS (Redis, Kafka, ELK stack etc).
• Knowledge of CICD is a plus – Source control like Git/Bitbucket , Continuous Integration – Jenkins / XL Release etc. .
• Security and/or Networking familiarity or certified in the following preferred: Security , RedHat, LPI/Suse Linux Admin, Dell EMC (Storage), PMP Skills or other industry certifications preferred.
• Shell Scripting / DevOps tools like Ansible with good knowledge of Yaml file to write playbooks
• Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods
• Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate
• Hands-on application design, software development and automated testing
• Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• Experience with distributed storage technologies like NFS as well as dynamic resource management frameworks Kubernetes / OpenShift.
• A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.
• Confirmed experience with object-oriented design and coding with variety of languages
• Good Knowledge of Networking and Services like TCP/UDP, LDAP AutoFs, DNS, NFS, SAN, LUN, Sendmail, Postfix etc.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually bonus benefits
