Training and Licensing Specialist

American Farm Bureau Insurance Services, Inc. (AFBIS, Inc.), provider of support and crop insurance services to Farm Bureau insurance companies, is looking for a Training and Licensing Specialist. We are open to this position being fully remote. This position requires up to 35% travel to visit client sites and to industry meetings and conferences. 

As a member of our development Training and Marketing team, you will create, organize, implement and conduct effective training programs and maintain agency licensing to aid in the successful administration of AFBIS customers and the federal crop insurance program.  This role offers opportunities for growth and professional development.

The Training and Licensing Specialist will be responsible for:

•Building and maintaining training material, sign in sheets, tests, agent forms, and any other applicable documents 
•Maintaining agent licensing databases including training hours, test scores, and forms.
•Creating and delivering on-site, virtual, and video training.
•Assisting in organizing and implementing training programs in accordance with the Standard Reinsurance Agreement (SRA) and company guidelines. 
•Filing continuing education (CE) credits with various state departments of insurance.
•Assisting company staff with the development of communications.
•Interpreting policy and RMA guidelines and applying them to training processes.
•Recommending company system enhancements and/or changes.
•Attending company and industry training sessions 
•Corresponding through written and oral communications with customers and AFBIS staff. 
 
What you will bring to this position:

•Bachelor's degree or equivalent
•3 years of experience creating and delivering training programs
•Crop Insurance experience
•Knowledge of agriculture and farm management 
•Strong organizational, attention to detail and planning skills
•Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing 
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
•Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
