Programmer/Robot Electrical Technician

Overview

Green Bay Dressed Beef Processing, an American Foods Group company has an opportunity for a PLC Programmer/Robot Electrical Technician at our East River plant in Green Bay, WI.

As a PLC Programmer/Robot Electrical Technician you will:

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain company equipment and the facility.
• Be responsible for the day-to-day activities to project management tasks.
• Work closely with internal and external customers to keep our facility running efficient.
• Create, follow, and enforce a safe working environment.
• Engage in continued learning through company trainings, continued credits, and off-site classes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Degree specific to PLC programming.
• Working knowledge and experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell products ((PLCs, HMIs, VFDs Software, firmware, etc.)
• Networking experience (understanding of internal networks, IP address, VLAN).

• Hours vary based on production needs and extended hours may be required.

  • Electrical controls
  • Reading/writing electrical prints
  • Safety circuits
  • Transformers
  • MCC

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven organizational skills.
• Ability to work across multiple functions and with all levels of employees and leadership.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
• Safety oriented.
