Experienced Non Standard Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster - Part Time
We have an AMAZING opportunity for an experienced claims adjuster to contribute in a fast paced, growing organization. American Freedom Insurance Company, a financially strong and rated “A ” Superior by A.M. Best (the most highly respected insurance rating organization) is seeking a responsible and hard working individual to join our Claims Department. We are a mid-sized, profitable and expanding nonstandard automobile insurance company doing business in Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.
The position is located in Mt Prospect IL.
Key responsibilities include:
- Negotiate claims and reach claim resolutions promptly
- Provide the policyholders with a level of service that meets or exceeds their expectations
- Control claims costs and expenses to the extent possible
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
- Answer and respond to attorney, regulatory, producer and consumer inquiries
- Build relationships with managers and supervisors within the Claim Department
- Maintain an effective and organized operation
- Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3yrs personal lines auto claim processing or adjuster experience
- Associate’s degree or higher is preferred; or equivalent industry experience
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to identify potential fast track claims
- Experience negotiating and settling automobile claims Proficiency with technology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A responsible and conscientious nature
- Superior coverage analysis and confirmation skills
- Good problem solving aptitude
- Bilingual - Spanish or Polish is a Plus
- Attention to detail and excellent quality of work
The Position
- Part Time Normal Business Hours M-F 8am-5pm CST; Occasional Saturday - Flexible Schedule
