LOCATION: American Games (504 34th Avenue Council Bluffs, IA)
What You'll Do
This position is a full-time permanent position in a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of charitable and lottery gaming products, including pull-tab tickets (break-open tickets) and bingo paper.
This position will play a key role in providing technical support for vending machine users via the telephone as well as providing assistance in machine assembly, dispatching, sales of new parts and warrantied parts, and shipping and receiving.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Receive phone calls from customers and direct machine repair over the phone.
- Schedule technicians for service calls.
- Maintain a log of incoming service calls in computer database.
- Dispatch service techs on an emergency basis.
- Determine the necessary parts required to fix machines.
- Enter orders in Symix for new and warrantee sales.
- Pull parts from stock, package and make sure orders are correct.
- Receive incoming packages from shipping.
- Basic office maintenance including filing, copying, etc.
- Inventory spare parts and make sure correct parts and quantities are ordered.
- Other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in servicing electrical and mechanical systems; preferred.
- Technical aptitude (working with hand tools).
- Customer Service experience required
- Ability to read and follow printed instructions
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Moderate to advanced computer skills with the aptitude to learn new computer software
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision
- Ability to direct subordinates and/or crew, if applicable
- Troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to objectively review information pertinent to position
- Effective in time management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to apply strong attention to detail and produce work with accuracy
- Ability to prioritize workflow, maintain schedules and follow up to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well in a diverse environment.
