Job Description
This is a hybrid position, working out of our Creative Studios, in Westlake, Ohio. As such, we will focus on candidates currently residing in Northeast Ohio.
General Summary
The Product Analyst is responsible for supporting their manager in developing, communicating, and executing annual/multi-year strategic plans for a Celebrations product category (e.g., Greeting Cards, Gift Packaging, Party Goods/Decorations, Stickers, or Stationery). The Analyst will stay in-tune with and ahead of consumer needs, product trends, the competitive environment and margin/cost factors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports development of master product catalogue (including size, contents, price mix, and COGS) and collaborates with Occasion and Creative teams to add new items to master catalogue as needed
- Responsible for analyzing point-of-sale data, consumer research, retail observations, industry trends, etc., to inform price and format mix within a master catalogue as well as product refresh
- Gathers and organizes insights in a manner that guides strategic thinking and retail strategy development
- Understands the key drivers of perceived value and cost of goods for assigned category
- Responsible for the on-time and accurate delivery of occasion line lists, consisting of documentation of key item-level information
- Supports cost management efforts for assigned category
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on simplification
Experience Required
Required Length & Type of Experience:
- This is an entry level position that requires the candidate to have 1 or more years of prior retail/consumer product experience, equivalent internship work, as well as demonstrating ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is critical

Education Required
Bachelors of Science in Business/Marketing or related degree.
