Specifications Analyst
GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is directly responsible for establishing and maintaining the bill of materials for manufactured and outside processing products. This includes establishing product specifications, item masters, product structures and process routings. Incumbent will maintain work-center production standards, bill of material manuals and related documentation. Partners with Process, Product, and Package Engineers for work center routings and crew sizes. Works directly with Product Management to ensure that all product lines are properly recorded and maintained in the various systems and contain the most updated, accurate information relating to manufacturing requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Works directly with Product Management to ensure that all product lines are properly recorded and maintained in the various systems and contain the most updated, accurate information relating to manufacturing requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform analysis of marketing specifications, design specifications, and line list documents for complete and required product requirements.
- Set up and maintain item master files for finished goods, WIP, and raw material items.
- Maintain data points pertinent to maintaining an accurate database (category codes, catalog codes, planner ID’s, UOM, demand type, etc…)
- Develop product and process manual for each HPL.
- Assign and maintain work center routing for assigned product lines.
- Establish and maintain BOM’s for all manufactured, outside processing items, and raw material inventory.
- Partner with FGIC to develop and maintain correct master product specifications and templates.
- Coordinate information flow from World Headquarters to plant level departments to ensure the manufacturing of accurate and cost effective products.
Experience Required:
Required Length & Type of Experience:
- 3 year experience in manufacturing planning and processes
- Proficiency with Excel and computer applications and related analytical systems.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
- Proficient in managing multiple projects and initiatives.
- Proficient in problem solving and decision-making.
- Knowledgeable in planning and scheduling processes.
- Knowledgeable in electronic inventory systems
Education Required:
Required Education:
- BS degree in Business, Accounting or related field of study.
- APICS certified preferred.
