AMERICAN GUARD SERVICES (AGS) IS SEEKING TO IMMEDIATELY HIRE UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS FOR THE CITY OF CABOT AR.

POSITION DETAILS

STARTING RATE: $14-16/HR

SHIFT: OVERNIGHT

DAYS: WEEKEND/WEEKDAYS

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE POSITION INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• OBSERVE AND REPORT ANY IRREGULARITIES; INFORMING VIOLATORS OF POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

• SECURING DIFFERENT PREMISES OF THE PROPERTY BY PATROLLING ON FOOT

• STANDING GUARD IN FRONT OF PROPERTY AND/OR BUILDING

• CONTRIBUTE TO ASSIST ANY NEEDS RELATED TO SECURITY DUTIES AT LOCATION/POST

• BASIC KNOWLEDGE ON COMPUTERS, PHONE, TABLETS IN THE CASE POST HAS/REQUIRES USE OF TECHNOLOGY

• EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE OF PUBLIC SAFETY/SECURITY PROTOCOL

• BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS TO ASSIST AND STAFF/CLIENTS ETC WITH QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS

• ABILITY TO WALK, STAND, AND SIT FOR LONG PERIODS AT A TIME

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.

• No Felony Arrests/Convictions

• Clean Driver License (With No DUI's or Multiple Moving Violations)

• Previous Security Experience preferred

• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

• Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
