We are currently hiring a Development Director for our Orange County Inland Empire Division based in Irvine, CA. The Director will generate revenue for our Heart Challenge fundraising campaign. This campaign includes our signature Orange County Heart & Stroke Walk event.
The Development Director is responsible for driving philanthropic giving strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Responsibilities include developing and managing a portfolio of current and prospective donors, prospect identification and stewardship, and designing and managing donor engagement experiences and events. Serves as a subject matter expert and actively collaborates with internal partners within the market, region, and national center to forge transformational donor relationships.

Expected pay range will be $64,750 to $82,000 annually. This position is incentive eligible based on achieving certain targets. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association invests in its people.
