What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at American Key Supply?
American Key Supply, a wholesaler to locksmiths, is seeking a motivated Accounts Payable Clerk who is proficient with Quickbooks, Excel and other related tasks. You will work in our Las Vegas office with part of our management team on a daily basis while becoming familiar with our processes.
Primary JOB DUTIES:
General Accounts Payable tasks
Review, process, and verify invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any invoice discrepancies or issues
Communicate with purchasing and receiving team to resolve discrepancies or issues
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any outstanding balances
Review and process expense reports for credit card transactions
Reconcile credit card account statements.
Assist with month-end close activities and other accounting tasks as assigned
Miscellaneous projects as needed
SKILLS we are looking for:
Must be fluent and resourceful using email, surfing the Web, Microsoft Excel, etc. for various tasks throughout the day
Fast typing skills, 10-key
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently, with or without constant supervision
Highly organized, with ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Accuracy and attention to detail
Positive attitude

We are a relatively small, fast paced, rapidly growing importer/wholesaler of locksmith keys, tools, and supplies online. Our distribution center is located in the Las Vegas, NV area. to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
