JOB TITLE: Service Technician
REPORTS TO: VP of Sales
SUMMARY: This position will focus on handling customer and dealer inquiries on quality and technical service issues. Serves customers by providing product and service information; resolving product and service problems, and building customer relationships on behalf of the Company. Ideal candidate will have engine and vehicle level experience, power sports and outdoor power service knowledge a plus!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide technical product training and support our Customers and Dealers
· Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
· Creating better processes, documentation, and direction for resolving technical issues.
· Prepares product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
· Will involve some travel (25%) including overnight travel to Customers and Dealers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with power sport vehicles, outdoor power equipment, or other related vehicles.
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
- Excels at operating in a fast-paced, community environment.
- Open to travel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Must: High School Diploma or HSE/GED, Mechanical knowledge of engines and vehicles. Certification for Briggs and Stratton, and Kohler a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
