Currently seeking a compassionate Director of Social Services to work at a skilled nursing facility located in Portsmouth, OH


Qualifications:

  • Must have prior experience as a Director of Social Work in a nursing home setting.
  • Must have BSW or MSW
  • Must be a self-starter and energetic
  • Proven Leadership & Management Skills
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills

Responsibilities of the Director of Social Services-Nursing Home:

  • Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides support services for residents and families.
  • Responsible for coordinating all admissions and discharges to ensure facility census is kept at its maximum capacity.
  • Participates in an interdisciplinary team approach to better serve the needs of the facility population
