A healthcare company located in the Brooklyn, New York looking for a strong and professional Payroll Coordinator to work in their corporate office.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in month end reporting procedures
  • Process payroll
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks

General Payroll functions:

  • Upload employee time into accounting software
  • Calculate and generate payroll for employees
  • Verify garnishments, payroll taxes, and other withholding completed properly
  • Update systems for new employees

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must have payroll experience
  • Knowledge of Smartlinx is highly preferred
  • Must have long term care experience
  • Have good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience
  • Be able to work well on a computer
  • Be organized and detailed in work performance
