** Facility is no longer accepting candidates within a 50-mile radius. Do NOT submit candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the hospital. ALL RTO requests must be in the packet at the time of submission. Anything sent after, will not be approved** Position Description: Must be able to circulate and scrub trauma cases for Ortho, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Neuro and Wound cases. Scrub exp is highly preferred. Rotating shift consisting of 2-8hr shifts and 2-12hr shifts. 40 min hours. Min of 36 hours in 6 weeks of on-call required, Min 1 weekend per month and Holidays required. Required Upon Submission: 2 years of experience in trauma, complex ortho and neuro. Must have both OR Scrub and OR Circulate skills checklist in packet or they will be dropped. Certifications Required: BLS required, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. MD/compact license is required for all submissions to be active, visible through nursys. COVID vaccine required. ONLY Medical Declination accepted, Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped. UMMS does not accept Religious Declinations. Flu Season has ended at UMMS and vaccines are no longer required. Manager to interview and offer.
