This position is responsible for reviewing and processing premium payments received by third party service providers, and processing premium payments received at the home office location to ensure timely and accurate payment application.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensures all premium payments received are accounted for and posted accurately within the Multiple Line Billing System
- Processes/deposits premium and non-premium checks received at the Home Office
- Daily reconciliation of premium payment sources to ensure accurate and timely reporting in the general ledger
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Auditing system records as necessary
- Records all applicable general ledger entries
- Reviewing and monitoring suspense activity
- Researching payment related billing Inquiries from internal and external clients
- Handling all inbound and outbound daily payment files and reports supported by third party service providers
- Other duties as assigned to support daily operations of the Multiple Line P&C Billing Services Team
Qualifications
High school diploma
- Two to four years of experience
- Supervisory/management experience not required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- College degree preferred
- Accounting or relevant experience working in financial systems
OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The position requires ability to effectively communicate with others to exchange information
- A person in this position performs a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments
- The position requires physical presence in company office on part-time or full-time basis
- No adverse working or environmental conditions expected
- This position is an Individual Contributor
Salary for this position can range from $46137.00 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $69205.50 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
