Supervisor, Annuity Administration
American National is seeking a full-time, Supervisor to join the Annuity Administration team. This position oversees the daily productivity and production of post issue annuity transactions once a policy has been issued from New Business. The position will review daily backlog reports, assess resource needs, contribute to personnel onboarding and training as well as development of employees. They will provide management feedback on process controls, recommended procedure changes and evaluate performance and time and attendance.
What will you do:
- Manages daily performance and provides feedback to staff on progress and opportunities
- Organizes, prioritizes and monitors workloads to ensure transactions are processed timely while with low error rates while maintaining contact with our clients and agents.
- Provides exceptional problem resolution, status inquiry support to agents in a positive and professional manner, with a customer focused approach.
- Maintains proficiency and knowledge of the policyholder associate position by contributing to the team effort when necessary
- Makes sure all team members understand their job duties and the expectations of their role. Counsels and motivates staff.
- Provides annual performance evaluations and assist management in determining future goals.
- Represents Annuity Administration professionally when dealing with marketing channels in group meetings
Required qualifications:
- Preference associate degree or 3-5 years accounting or insurance experience
- 3-5 year’s work experience, preferably in the insurance or financial industry
- Creative thinker
- Ability to motivate staff
- Excellent judgement and decision making
- At least one year of supervisory/management experience
- The successful Team Leader candidate must be dynamic, able to multi-task, and be detail oriented
