What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVS Shift Supervisor position at American Place?
Responsible for assisting with managing and coordinating the daily operations of the housekeeping department on the assigned shifts. Ensures that all areas of the casino are clean and meet OSHA/Safety standards.
Essential Job Functions:
• Excellent internal/external guest service;
• Assist with personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching;
• Monitor work performance to ensure the overall cleanliness of designated areas;
• Assist with upkeep of inventory for the department;
• Trains staff in the proper use of equipment and upkeep;
• Trains and monitors use of all chemicals;
• Handle guest complaints and concerns;
• Assist with requisitions, reports, correspondence, and forms relative to the operations of the department;
• Other reasonable duties as assigned.
