CPME is an autonomous, professional accrediting agency that evaluates and accredits educational institutions and programs in the specialized field of podiatric medicine. CPME is designated by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) to serve as the accrediting agency for podiatric medical education. The Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) is seeking to fill an opening for a Residency and Volunteer Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator assists in and provides support for the administration of the residency on-site evaluation and approval processes for the podiatric medical profession and staffs all CREC activities as agreed upon by the CREC Committee.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluator Management and Development Responsibilities:
    • Develops and maintains relationships with more than 150 volunteer on-site evaluators.
    • Uses knowledge of on-site evaluator effectiveness to oversee the on-site evaluation and post-evaluation process.
    • Manages all aspects of evaluator tracking and files.
    • Participates in the creation of on-site evaluation teams for upcoming on-site evaluations.
    • Manages content of online training modules for new evaluators, including tracking completion of the training modules by evaluators.
  • Collaborative Residency Evaluator Committee (CREC) Responsibilities:
    • Coordinates the site selection and hotel arrangements for CREC meetings and residency evaluator training workshops (2 in-person meetings, 2 virtual meetings per year).
    • Assists in the preparation of including developing, posting of agenda materials, and meeting follow up tasks, and attends all Committee meetings and annual residency evaluator training workshop.
    • Provides guidance and leadership to CREC to include taking a large role in conducting CREC meetings.
    • Updates and develops strategies for revisions to the content of the website as they relate to CREC and residency/fellowship education.
Requirements:

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • One to two years of related work experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent proofing and grammar skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively by building relationships across all departments and levels.
  • Must demonstrate good judgment and mature business skills, a high level of organizational and time management skills, and flexibility in competently juggling competing priorities and changing expectations.
  • Skilled in critical thinking, analysis, and determining project direction.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to coordinate multiple site visits to residency and fellowship programs.
  • Must be able to manage the pre-evaluation and post-evaluation processes involved with these site visits.
  • Requires good problem solving and innovative thinking to accomplish very broadly defined and/or technically complex responsibilities of the position.
