Compensation and Benefits
$111,000 – $143,000 | Salary is negotiable dependent upon experience.

Position Overview
Reporting to the CFO/VP of Finance, the ERP Project Manager will own and drive the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA across the organization and all business units. You will serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, executive leadership, implementation partners, and internal teams. This leader will leverage excellent communication skills and decisive leadership to keep the complex project on track. This role is also responsible for planning and coordinating the processes and activities related to the development, delivery and integration, applications, and third-party solutions as required to meet the businesses requirements. The ideal candidate has successfully led multiple full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA ERP implementations from end-to-end in complex manufacturing organizations. This is an opportunity to leverage your profound expertise in SAP modules, integration points, data migration, and business processes to drive a successful implementation.
This position allows for a hybrid work schedule for those who reside in Louisville, Kentucky. Out-of-state candidates are welcome to apply for remote work with frequent travel for on-site work.
Major Duties and Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for ERP implementation, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Ensure accessibility needs are met through ERP solution.

Develop and manage project governance including steering committee meetings, sponsor meetings, project team meetings, and status reports.

Maintain the overall project plan including detailed workstreams for activities such as, data cleansing, design, configuration, testing, data migration, integrations, training, change management, and deployment.

Oversee the detailed schedule with tasks, durations, milestones, resources, and critical path.

Steadfastly drive the project to meet all timeline milestones and go-live dates by adeptly controlling scope and preventing scope creep through disciplined change management.

Manage the program budget, analyze spending and forecasts, and provide regular budget versus actual reporting to key stakeholders.

Provide direction, feedback, and guidance to implementation partner project teams on a daily/weekly basis to drive progress. Delegate appropriately while maintaining solid working relationships.

Mediate discussions to obtain alignment and sign-off on configurations from business process owners. Drive consensus through flexibility and collaboration

Develop and execute testing plans including integration, user acceptance, performance, and regression testing. Troubleshoot issues creatively.

Oversee data migration activities, validating data extracts and transformations from legacy systems.

Mentoring and overseeing project governance is well-documented.

Collaborate with Change Management Consultant to drive change management and communications to educate staff and promote user adoption. Motivate teams positively through transformation.

Monitor project status, risks and issues, dependencies, process management, and critical paths on a consistent basis. Course-correct quickly when needed.

Present reports on project progress, budgets, milestones, and risks to the Steering Committee and Board of Trustees. Also, tailor communications to various audiences.

Proactively identify and resolve project obstacles and conflicts in a timely manner. Solve problems with solutions focus.

Coordinate go-live readiness assessments and cutover activities to ensure a smooth transition.

Manage stabilization support post go-live to resolve any defects or issues. Celebrate wins with the project team.
Education, Training, and Experience Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
-
7 years as an ERP implementation project management experience, with at least 3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA projects completed from blueprinting through go live.

Excellent project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures and methodologies – i.e., Agile, Waterfall, and Kanban.

Experience and expert in lines-of-business processes: Finance and Accounting, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Integration, and Reporting.

Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data mapping.

Strong knowledge of system and data quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

Experience in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good judgment.

Demonstrated ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing requirements and apply it to business needs.

Working knowledge of current network protocols, and IT governance and compliance standards, including change management best practices.

Mastery translating business processes into technical configurations.
-
Outstanding communication, presentation, and executive reporting abilities.

Hands-on experience configuring SAP S/4HANA solutions.

Data migration experience from legacy systems into S/4HANA using tools like SAP Data Services.

Excellence managing multi-vendor implementation teams and partners.

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
-
CSM (Certified Scrum Master) preferred.
-
SAP/4HANA certifications preferred.
