Academic Program and Activity Coordinator / Teacher

The American Sports Academy-Oregon (ASA-Oregon) is a leading educational and sports training center dedicated to providing exceptional programs for children in the Beaverton area. Our mission is to promote academic excellence and physical wellness through a range of innovative programs and activities.

ASA-Oregon is seeking a dynamic and experienced Academic Program and Activity Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and youth development, with a strong background in program coordination and activity planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging academic programs and activities for students, including homework assistance, educational games, and enrichment activities.
• Coordinate with teachers and staff to align program activities with curriculum goals and objectives.
• Manage program schedules, including planning and organizing events, field trips, and special activities.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure program success and student engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of program participation and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in program coordination or related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Flexibility to work after school hours and in summer camp sessions.
