The Account Specialist may also be involved with purchasing / material procurement; working with suppliers such as mills or other vendors to obtain the best pricing for replacement material and / or the procurement of new material.
What You’ll DoFoster a culture of safety awareness & safety prioritization.Ensure that quality standards are met.Enforce all company rules, policies, and procedures;
communicate issues or concerns with the Inside Sales Manager.Ability to understand ASTM and MIL-STD material specifications and to work with the suppliers to ensure we meet customers’ expectations.
Achieve goals and help to resolve any issues that may arise.Perform Inside sales activities to ensure achievement of established objectives for pricing, acceptable gross profit margins, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the various division departments to promote a team environment.Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by the division and / or corporate management team.
Experience and Certifications1 - 3 years of inside sales experience.Proficiency with software systems including MS Office, database management, and other business-related systems.
Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing organization preferred.Experience with an ERP system.Critical CompetenciesBe self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks.
Detailed oriented.Excellent written and verbal skills.A quick learner and ability to communicate with a diverse clientele group.
Proactive, solutions oriented.Good presentation skills and ability to communicate concisely.High energy, positive attitude, proactive problem solver.
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.Education RequirementsA minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
