Warehouse

AS&D manufactures and distributes aluminum and stainless-steel railing and patio cover products for
the construction industry. We are expanding in Oregon and looking to immediately hire a warehouse
position for long-term employment.

Overview
This position is responsible for receiving, storing, loading, unloading, inventorying and
packaging material for our warehouse and assembly operations. The position also requires
operation of power tools and forklift equipment.

Work Hours
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

• Packing orders for customers

• Shipping orders

• Staffing will-call dock

• Inventory cycle counts

• Building crates and packaging material for freight shipments

• Receiving shipments from vendors, suppliers, and in-house transfer orders

• Swaging and assembling cable

• Assembly and fabrication of railing, patio cover, and cable products

• Cutting and drilling aluminum extrusions and roll-form materials

• Inspecting material for quality

• Working in ERP software for inventory and production tracking

• Using forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts

• Phone communication skills (English)

• Must be willing to change and adapt to situations in order to provide outstanding service to

the customer

• Ability to be to work on time, every time while consistently performing job tasks

• Experience with power tools

• Regular ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds occasionally with full

range & motion

• Working in a warehouse environment in hot and cold weather

• Working in a safe and controlled manner

• Frequent bending, lifting and standing

• Reports to production supervisor

• Basic reading and math skills

• Mechanical aptitude

• Read and use a tape measure

• Computer skills, including experience with MS Office 365, ERP software, barcode tracking

systems

• Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions

• Prior experience with automatic and manual packaging machines, scales and printing

devices

• Operating forklift and other heavy equipment
