Technical Writer - TS/SCI

Are you an experienced Technical Writer with a strong background in Innovation and Experimentation program coordination and integration with other DoD organizations and relevant Government agencies? Then we have a great opportunity supporting the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) headquarters, in the Directorate of Requirements and Resources (J8) by providing planning, analysis, innovation, and concept testing to develop new capabilities to meet operational challenges.

As a Technical Writer you will:

A week in the life of a Technical Writer:

• Provide innovative solution documentation including reporting on contractual, resource, technical, diplomatic, logistical, and transportation needs to rapidly deploy solutions
• Generate test planning and execution documentation including test plans, integrated assessment plans, and test results
• Help to develop exercise documentation to assess whether an observed activity succeeded in its mission and whether the Operations, Actions, and Activities (OAA) positively or negatively influence any of USINDOPACOM's Theater Campaign Plan objectives
• Assist with the development of documentation for engineering efforts including network, information assurance, restoration procedures, site reconfiguration upgrades, modifications in support of the command's oversight, and resulting CONOPS and TTPs
Edit material prepared by other writers or team personnel

• Associate's Degree in an appropriate field
• Five or more years of relevant experience writing/editing technical documentation, procedures, and guidelines in support of DoD Innovation and Experimentation efforts
• Joint Capability Technical Demonstration experience or having previously supported a Combatant Command headquarters
• Working in a cross-functional team
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI and Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility
