Interview: Webcam
• Create digital images from microfilm with proprietary image capture software and scanning equipment.
• Back-up digital images to preservation microfilm using state-of-the-art archival writing equipment.
• Microfilm paper documents by use of traditional 16mm or 35mm planetary cameras.
• Process and duplicate preservation 16mm and 35mm microfilm.
• Scan paper records by use of high-speed document scanners, flatbed scanners, and book scanners.
• Answer questions and provide technical information to state and local agencies regarding agency rules, regulations, and services.
• Assist with training new or existing staff on equipment operation.
• Perform daily maintenance and basic troubleshooting for microfilm and scanning equipment, communicate any repair, or non-daily maintenance needs to Lab Production Lead.
