Job Description:
We are looking to hire a talented Sr Android Engineer to design, build, and maintain the next generation of mobile applications. Your primary focus will be developing high-end applications for the latest Android mobile devices. Your duties may include collaborating with the design team for new application features, identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the core code, and updating applications published on the App Store.
- To ensure success as a mobile development Engineer, you should have a strong working knowledge of Android Frameworks, be proficient in Objective-C, Swift Swift UI and be able to work as part of a team. Typically requires minimum of 5-7 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.
- Designing and building native mobile applications on Android platform.
- Designing and implementing application updates.
- Must have development experience in Core Java Knowledge of C-based libraries.
- Proficient in Kotlin, Web Services, Rest Services, Core Java, CSS, HTML, Java Script, XML
- Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of C-based libraries.
- Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera API’s, etc. would be a plus.
- Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
- Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
- Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
- Fixing application bugs before the final release.
- Publishing application on App Store.
- Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.
- Experience with continuous integration Unit tests.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $78.00 - $80.00 per hour
