Overview:
The Business Development Manager generates and captures revenue streams at the well sites or office settings by taking orders from both existing and new customers. The Business Development Manager must be knowledgeable in all various product lines and services offered by the company. This role is directly involved in the growth activities of all service lines and generating new business customers, as well as expanding opportunities with current customers. The Business Development Manager will actively build and maintain customer relationships, keep up to date on current market trends and actively engage new, potential customers.
Responsibilities:
Frequent contact and communication with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction
Effectively listen and partner with operations to troubleshoot any issues to ensure customer satisfaction
Actively participate and attend sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows
Identify and establish business relationships to drive expansion of our product base within existing markets and product mix with established clients to develop strong consistent revenue streams
Promptly address customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate sales quotes
Ability to close business deals in a timely manner and follow-up to ensure consistent service and satisfaction
Proactively networks for new-customer contacts with intention of building long-lasting business relationships
Other duties as assigned by Manager
Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma/Equivalent, required
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
Degree Field(s): Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience, required
Extensive knowledge of relevant service lines, required
Demonstrated success in new account penetration and account management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Relevant outside sales experience in the oil and gas industry with a record of account growth
Intimate knowledge of industry clientele in major plays
Demonstrated ability to turn opportunities and leads into sales
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Proven ability to make sound decisions and recommendations in a conceptual selling environment
Able to multi-task in fast paced environment
Ability to partner with operations to collaborate on business opportunities
Basic problem solving and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, required
Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements, required
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States, as required by law, required
