An Activities Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guests at a resort have a fun and enjoyable experience during their stay. They help organize and run a variety of activities, such as sports tournaments, arts and crafts classes, outdoor excursions, and games. Activities Attendants are responsible for setting up equipment and supplies, ensuring safety guidelines are followed, and providing excellent customer service. They may also be required to lead activities and interact with guests, including children, to encourage participation and a positive experience for all. As such, an Activities Attendant needs to have excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills, as well as enthusiasm and creativity to ensure guests are fully engaged and entertained.

Activities Attendant Duties

• Greet participants on arrival at the activities center
• Provide information to visitors about activities on offer
• Ensure the safety of visitors in the activities center
• Help participants to set up and use the equipment
• Assist with the running of activities and help participants throughout
• Monitor the safety of participants and intervene where necessary
• Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the center and equipment
• Provide first aid when needed
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times

Activities Attendant Requirements

• Provide customer service to all guests
• Organize and set up activities
• Monitor the safety and security of participants
• Clean and maintain the activity area
• Assist with the preparation of materials and equipment
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations
• Driver license preferred but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
