As an Administrator in Training / AIT you will be responsible to learn the duties of the acting Administrator and assist them in managing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local guidelines/regulations. You will also ensure the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. Through this program you will enhance your knowledge of our culture and the managerial and problem-solving skills necessary to provide quality care at Americare Senior Living.
The AIT agrees and understands that they are making a commitment to work for Americare Senior Living for a period of two (2) years in a location determined by the Company. In addition, the AIT understands that during this program, extensive travel and relocation may be required. For newly licensed Administrators, as well as AITs who successfully obtain their NHA/RCAL or equivalent state licensure, Americare Senior Living will assign them as needed to meet business needs. This may include an Administrator position or project based assignment with our regional support team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education/experience is determined by individual
- Administrator/Manager in Training participant requirements:
- Kansas minimum: Bachelor's Degree
- Missouri minimum: Associate degree in heath-care administration at least 21 semester hours of course work directly in health-care administration
- Must be able to pass the federal as well as state Nursing Home Administrator's exams
- Maintain CEU's to retain and earn additional education as needed.
