Job Posting for Graphic Designer at Americas Preferred Home Warranty
As the Graphic Design Coordinator, you will work with a collaborative marketing team to find opportunities to promote and tell the story of America’s Preferred Home Warranty. You will be responsible for producing high-quality, creative visuals and some short form written content to engage and inspire our audiences. This position reports to the Marketing Director.
Position Details
Location: Full timeat Jackson Corporate office
Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday
Wage: $55,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Become an integral part of the Marketing team, to translate marketing strategies into creative ideas and deliver compelling design concepts
Collaborate with our Digital Media Manager to plan, brainstorm, organize, and create captivating social media graphics, GIFs, etc. to engage our clients in our online communities and websites
For some social media posts, you may be asked to research and produce short form written content (captions, short paragraphs, etc.) and post finished content to our various social media sites
Work with APHW’s Marketing and Sales departments’ staff to create or update collateral materials for publication, preparing them for print
Utilize professional photography, sound, & lighting equipment for staff photography (headshots and special events) and web or social media graphics
Produce specialty items for charity fundraisers and various company events
Qualifications
Strong background in the printing process as it relates to file design and setup
Strong background in the process of designing digital assets for social media and websites
Good written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills with significant attention to detail
Team player with good interpersonal skills; able to work well with internal and external communities and maintain excellent client relationships
Ability to express creativity and interest in design while working within branding standards
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and on deadline
Photography, video, and writing skills are a plus
Willingness to travel some Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or similar field required
Minimum three years' experience in design, publication layout, computer graphics required
Working knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, Premier Pro (and/or iMovie)
Working knowledge with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Working knowledge of Mac platform
Working knowledge of various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn & Instagram (Hootsuite knowledge a plus)
