What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Administrator/ Schedular position at Americas Staffing Partner?
Job Duties
- Greeting patients, visitors, and staff that enters
- Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments with electronic appointment request system called Clinical Research Information System (CRIS). Transfer calls to other units
- Scheduling contracted Nurses, Patient Care Technician (PCT) to units that are in need or have a call off.
- Review reports and census for the hospital
- Creating spreadsheets to documents needs of resources from each unit. These needs will change throughout the day. So this must be updated frequently.
- Submit time sheets for contracted agencies
- Ensure the office are fully stoked with office supplies such as copy paper, toner, pens, folders, writing pads and etc.
- Multi-task between 2 or more operating systems, E-mails, and calendars
- Filing, faxing, and other admin duties
- Creating/printing screening stickers and parking passes for the hospital
Must meet all below job requirements or will not be considered for employment
Requirements
- At least 2 year experience in health care setting and administration
- High School diploma
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Must have experience using electronic scheduling systems
- Must have a Real I.D
- Must be able to pass a Federal Back ground check
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus!
Shift: 3:00pm -11:30pm
