Weekend Breakfast Attendant 7am-11am

Breakfast attendants are not just responsible for maintaining our hotel’s breakfast , but for creating moments for guests to experience our flawless guest service.

This position could include helping with laundry or housekeeping during the summer months if more hours are desired.

Purpose of Position: To provide an efficient and friendly atmosphere to service our guests. Follow all required policies and procedures of the brand standards, and Ledgestone.

Essential Functions:

1. Set up and maintain the breakfast area.

2. Remain in breakfast area during posted breakfast hours, except when replenishing supplies.

3. Replenish breakfast food and paper goods as needed.

4. Clean and clear tables as they are vacated.

5. Empty garbage as needed.

6. Demonstrate good communication skills.

7. Demonstrate the ability and willingness to communicate with guests.

8. Handle and resolve any guest complaints regarding the breakfast area. When necessary, request assistance from the general manager.

9. At the close of breakfast, clean juice machine and coffee machine, wash all serving dishes, trays, and utensils.

10. Turn juice machine off and lock all cupboards.

11. Clean breakfast area, including tabletops, chairs, counters, trays, microwave, vacuum floor, etc.

12. Restock entire area to have it ready for the next day.

13. Clean, organize and stock breakfast prep area.

14. Track inventory of food, beverages, and supplies needed for each day.

15. Make notes of items that need to be ordered and give to Manager to place order.

16. Report any problems to front desk and record in desk log.

17. Adhere to all food handling and health regulations (i.e. hand washing, dating opened food product, property food storage, temperature controls, etc.)

18. Additional job duties as required.

2. Neat, well-groomed appearance.

3. Must have a flexible schedule to include weekends.

4. Wear appropriate company uniform including a nametag.

5. Good communication skills.

6. Pleasant personality and excellent people skills.

1. Follow all state and federal guidelines, including OSHA Communication Training (Ledgestone implemented Group Policy).

2. Maintain high level of quality, service, and cleanliness.

Experience or Training Require

High school education

Marginal Job Functions

1. Restocking supplies for continental breakfast.

2. Cleaning breakfast area as needed.

3. Perform light maintenance duties.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
