What are the responsibilities and job description for the Settlement Automation Manager position at Americor?
The Settlement Automation Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of bulk settlement exchanges and the processing of those settlements via automation. They must create and maintain processes through technology and procedure that allows as much of the settlement process to be conducted via automation with minimal human intervention needed.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, build and maintain technologies and processes that allow for bulk settlements to be completed with little or no human intervention
- Responsible for all data exchanges with creditors, ensuring both timeliness and accuracy of these exchanges
- Manages a team of Special Project Administrators who handle the day to day of inventory control
- Ensure all CRM functions are working as intended and work with Product Managers and VP of Operations to create further enhancements
- Work with upper management on developing bulk settlement strategies
- Streamline debt settlement processes
- Work with other members of leadership to ensure all inventories, settlement letters and other batch settlement files are received in a timely fashion
- Meets with Negotiations management regularly to assess needs of the inventory control team
Requirements:
- 3 years experience in the debt settlement industry, preferably in creditor-facing roles
- Comprehensive knowledge of creditor guidelines and strong understanding of debt settlement process
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Superior leadership skills, focusing on servant leadership and development
- Strong work ethic, flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond to get the job done
- Results-oriented team player
- Superior time management, multitasking and organizational skills; able to work under deadline constraints while completing work accurately and efficiently
- Good judgment with a highly developed sense of integrity and ability to consistently adhere to company and department guidelines and accurately apply policies and procedures to various situations
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
