Summer Enrichment Coordinator - Vermont

DREAM meets our mission by providing programming for youth in the neighborhoods we serve: Afterschool Enrichment, Village Mentoring, and Summer Enrichment. Our DREAMCorps help to plan and execute programming throughout our regions during the school year and summertime. The DREAM Program is committed to dismantling systems of oppression that affect our youth and families. Member Duties : Summer Enrichment Coordinators will be responsible for executing our annual summer activities, which are modeled closely to a summer day camp. You will work as a team and be responsible for providing fun and enriching daytime activities to our youth which will include activities offered within their housing communities, in the local area, and field trips to nearby locations. Objectives of Service as a Summer Enrichment Coordinator: You and your team will plan and run eight (8) weeks of fun, memorable, enriching summer daytime activities for youth living in low income housing. You will get to know each individual youth who participates in your day camp group, and incorporate their interests and ideas into your daily activities. You and your team will communicate with the caregivers of youth who are enrolled in your program on a daily basis. You will strive to provide a physically, emotionally, and mentally safe and inclusive environment for youth and staff/members.
